Help me Mr. Wizard, I don't want to read I.E. for Dummies anymore. (Or maybe it the
WinME).

Before I reformat my HD, I am trying everything I can to undo whatever is happening
to this rotten computer. It keeps freezing up with this, that or the other kernel32
errors. Each has a different number attached. Is there anyway out of this.. Other
than relearning Linux at this point. I will consider this down the road, but for the
moment I have to go with what I know.

Good afternoon, Conster...

It is I, your local Wizard back from the Pelleponesian Software Wars...
having been out most of the day I'm once more back, just in time for
another delightful run of thunderstorms, just now strolling through
Colville destined for Spokane.

Please tell me some of the numbers, as that will tell me a lot about what
is happening. It does, unfortunately, sound like a good case for
formatting and reloading the operating system, from the way you've
described it. However tell me some of the magic numbers and I'll see which
way they lead me.

RE-LEARN Linux? Linux is like riding a bicycle with square wheels. Once
you've learned how to handle the bumps and bruises, you never forget. No,
actually, learning Linux these days is as simple as putting a Mandrake or
Debian CD in the CD-ROM drive and rebooting the computer. However, I
digress, just like the Reader's Digress Magazine. ;-) Tell me some of the
most prominent kernel32 errors you can find. Perhaps it is an errant
driver, or something not too terrible. (Hope springs eternal)
