Since this is Friday, and probably going to be a busy day, judging by my
calendar of events, I probably won't be able to do much to help until
Saturday or Sunday, depending a lot on how today goes. However, I know
there is a library of routines out there which purport to work with Open
Office. I'll check them out first and see if they work with Windows, or if
they are still just for Linux, and then let you know.

I have been in touch with the "man on the mountain" at Sun, and he has
explained that, although they do not currently have a grammar checker in
place, one is forthcoming soon. Depending upon whether or not you are a
registered user of Open Office, the following URL may work for you:

http://development.openoffice.org/digest/2004_w03.html#grammar

It should be noted that Open Office, which based upon the for-fee
application Star Office by Sun, is in the process of developing a grammar
checker. Ostensibly, one could hope that as soon as they get the bugs
worked out, it will appear in Open Office. However, a quick overview of
the CVS shows a number of code samples which may or may not apply to the
concept of a grammar checker. I'd say wait awhile.
